Hello All,
my first post here and I am hoping that someone can help me with this. the laser on my Kapex are not showing on the right side; is this an adjustment issue? I should note here that we are a finish carpentry firm so the saw moves quite often and the saw is used (miles and miles of trim) every day. NOt sure where to start with this one. I tried blow the area up where the laser shines from but that doesnt seem to help. Also while Im posting, is there a way to get the lasers to show up better when we are set up outside? It seems that at noon, its hard to see if we even have the laser on (the one side that shows).
Any and all advice is much appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

It could very well be an adjustment issue. If you don't have it already, there's a very handy supplemental owner's manual available for download at the festoolusa site downloadlink. The method for calibrating the lasers is on page 28 of the pdf. (Of course it could also be the laser is just broken)

There exist safety goggles with red lenses which are meant to see laserlines better in daylight. (I got a pair that came with my rotary laser, but I never use them, because I prefer to use the receiver instead of the laserline itself)

btw, If this is your first post, who posted the previous 10? ;)

The best bet would be to contact us directly, we would be happy to help you with this issue.  If you are in the U.S. please contact our service department (800) 554-8741 or email them at service@festoolusa.com
