Page loads seem even slower than earlier in the week?

This is pretty light weight and being hosted on AWS, not sure what the problem is.

Yes...now lagging by 25-30 seconds compared to the earlier 16+ seconds.  [mad]

Well, [member=101]Festool USA[/member] , it appears that the issue is back.  HELP!

To the members here, I apologize for making the assumption that everything was fixed when I had quick performance earlier today as well did others here.  Based on my assumption that the issue was rectified, I locked the other three threads because it appeared as though the issue was rectified.  Shame on me for making that assumption.  I have not had any conversations with Festool and yes it appears that I made what in time turned out to be a false assumption.

Please continue your conversations in this thread.

Again, my apologies if I have upset anyone.  I am not an IT guy and this Forum's backend is maintained by Festool, so all I can do is ask for assistance.

Carry on...

Peter

Don't feel bad Peter!  It certainly seemed like the issue had been resolved and things were back to normal.

Much better right now, but unless I see some sort of confirmation from [member=101]Festool USA[/member] that they took an active role in fixing something, I can't really chalk it up to anything other than dumb luck.

Good luck with that...a simple explanation would be welcomed. Let's hope an explanation is forthcoming.

It's simple: the Plug-It cord that they didn't use on the TS 60 is being used on the computer, and it is arching ...

Going to go ahead and disagree with that..

That's why I said that I wasn't calling it "fixed" without actual confirmation.  It worked just fine for me when I posted that; if it didn't work for you on a good connection, then there are probably still issues.

It's not nearly as snappy this morning as it was last night when I posted that, but also not as bad as it was at the peak.  My first page load was around 5 seconds, but it has since slowed to 10-12.  That's pretty unacceptable as far as feeling like the site is even working.

I also never saw anywhere close to 39-48 second page loads at the peak of the worst of it, so there might be something happening specific to your location in New York in addition to the issues with the site.

They switched to 18V batteries, but they only attached one of them, rather than both.

[big grin]
