I should have done this long ago... the Veritas brass offset scribes (my name for them as I cannot locate them on their site anymore  [scared]). Super useful, but with all sizes 1/8" apart, you spend too much time measuring them to find the offset you want... sprayed with LaserBond 100 and etched their offset on the 'pencil' side.
Also did the same to some ridiculously useful offsets that pop onto the Domino pin fence (these are largely why I'll never give mine up). They center the Domino on stock of the labeled width. For whatever reason, I couldn't get the LaserBond to stick to the aluminum face so I ended up with the labels on the much smaller magnet head. Perhaps I'll get some Ceramark to try and see if it works better.

Often, it's a lot easier and quicker to find things carried by Lee Valley using Google, esp. when you don't have their exact product names, than doing the search on its website.

Perfecto... that's it. I searched 'brass offset', 'profile', 'gauge', and a couple others before going through the whole section where profile gauges were located... no luck. I'll google next time.

It's Super Bowl Sunday so it makes some sense that only the Canadians are online today haha!

Very interesting Paul...what kind of laser did you use and how powerful?

It's a Glowforge 40W CO2 laser. LaserBond has a chart for power levels and speed that was handy. The chart lists 30W lasers as well so you don't need a lot of power. These days, I think you can get a lot of laser for not that much.
