Lead Paint

I have been ask to sand a floor covered in paint. Would anyone know of a way to determine if it is lead paint without taking it to a chemical lab for testing. The homeowner has no idea when it was painted.

IIRC I've seen lead test kits at Home Depot. No idea how good they are
