Just to clarify for other readers, the Little Giant is more of a heavy duty solution than the xtend & climb. We use the x & c just as a convenience tool where we have to access one area for a short time. Not a day in day out, all day long deal. Just a convenience. Easy to load and navigate up through a stairway to reach a short cathedral ceiling than our shortest extension which is 16' or 8+ collapsed.
The Little Giant is definitely more heavy duty and offers alot more configurations, but as noted above, I dont like those as a daily ladder either, for painting at least. We ned lighter weight mobility when getting around a house. Also, I have never liked the platform feature of them. I would much rather set up a baker for that. I like a good 24" of width under me at least. Don't like having to watch every single step.
