Looking for a scrap guide rail

Had a brilliant idea on modding the festool guide rail and would like to prototype it on a small piece of  scrap rail before cutting into mine.  So if you’ve cut a damaged rail, I’d like your off-cut, or I would take a whole, damaged rail that you’ve discarded. If it works I’ll post my idea to FOG, if it doesn’t-  well that’s life.  Would probably pay via paypal, money order (your preference) . Shipping would be to Canada, or US -again your choice .  Thanks!
