LR-32 Edge stops

I have been using my LR-32 set this weekend.  I needed to drill several rows of holes into the middle of a panel.  After some experimentation I found that if I flip the edge stops around (have the stop pins face the side of the guide rail opposite the splinter guard) I can simply add 320mm to the predetermined measurements.

Is this figure of 320mm added to the measure printed on the stops correct?  Can someone confirm my findings before I start making holes and mess up an entire panel?

Thanks,
Daniel

I bet Peter will chime in here shortly, in the mean time, that's Festool trainer Brian Sedgeley out of Festool headquarters in Indy.

The video does demonstrate exactly what I mean when I say flip the stops to the opposite side.

However, based on that video he tells that the max depth is 420mm.  Unfortunately there is no number given that I can just say add xxxmm to the preset measure for ease of use.  That is what I am really looking for.

I really just want confirmation that the number I came up with is correct.

Best,
Daniel

You can also call Festool and talk to them, contact info is located at the Festool use website.

You nearest dealer can put you in contact with a Festool Rep who can answer your questions too.

reading your question again. I think your answer will depend on the width of the cabinet. If its a Kitchen Base cabinet 23 3/4 wide it would be 603mm.

Once you cut your base sides you can figure out using the technique in the video to determine what your measure ment would be the same with the uppers
If this makes sense?
