I am getting ready to begin a cabinet project using LR 32 and I will have rails on both sides of the partition. I am using 3/4 Birch Ply and I seem to remember that if you have a euro screw too long then when you go to mount a rail on the other side the screw will hit and not get tight.
Also I am using the Festool 5 mm bit I am assuming that means a 5 mm screw?
So what is the proper length ?

Thanks for your help

You need 10mm Euro screws if you're installing back to back.

Take a look athttp://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-how-to/install-sys-az-drawers/ round about the 50 second mark.

I believe although it's a 5mm hole, Euro screws are 6.3mm in diameter.

Hi,

[member=11629]GarryMartin[/member] is of course right! 5mm hole, Euro screws have a very coarse thread and are 6.3mm in (outer)diameter. Works perfectly!

Kind regards,
Oliver

I'd just super glue the slides in place

But the length of screw would be dependant of the thickness of the ply your useing. 5/8 (18mm) would use a smaller length then one you would use on a 3/4, 20mm thickness.
