I agree, that normally the 1/2 mm won't make any difference at all, in this case because I forgot and drilled the holes before I glued on the edging, the offset ended up being nearly 1.5mm and wasn't sure at first if that would cause a problem.  After looking at the Blum hinges, it looks like there's enough adjustment that it still won't be a problem, but I still wanted to figure out, if possible, if there was something I was doing wrong, or if I just need to remember to adjust the stops by 1/2 mm next time I use them.

If the amount you're off is consistent, you could always recalibrate.

Sorry, no.  I had intended to spend some time on it this last weekend, but with the warm temperatures we had, decided I had better spray the finish on all the panels for the next set of wall cabinets I was working on.  Hope to get a chance to look at it again this coming weekend.
