Hello

Im new to festool.  My question is I want to make a pantry and use the LR32 to drill the system holes.  The pantry is 8'-6" how would I do this with the 42" rail without purchasing the 95" rail?  sorry if this is a repeat but i could find it on the search.

Thanks

Welcome to the Festool Owners Group!

I don't have the LR32 system myself, but hopefully someone will be along shortly with some advice.

In the meantime, you may want to look under "Routing" in the Consolidated List of Festool Links and that will give you a range of videos, manuals, articles and reviews to check out.

set up and drill the holes to the end of the guide then move the guide up to the last few holes you have drilled are still covered by the guide, line up the holes and use two pegs to locate the jig in the holes you have drilled I hope that makes sense its late.

You can also use your router to register the last few holes.
Just like above, move the rail, cover a few holes and put the router in line with those few holes. With the router off, plunge it into the holes that you have drilled and you should be set to go.

First, [welcome] to the FOG.

That is the method I've used. Another option is to get the new 1400mm (55") LR32 guide rail and join it with the other 42" rail. I think joining two rails is easier than hop scotching one rail.

I have the 42" rail and although it can be used on the longer runs,  get the longer rail if you can.  Saves a lot of headaches and "do-overs".  I have my eyes on one during this 10% off sale.
