Mafell KSS 300

Hi Guys
There seems to be a bit of talk regarding the Mayfell KSS 300.
Does anyone know when Mafell released this hand held unit?

You might be referring to the new cordless version. I have one, it's better than the 300 which I love and had for years. Probably a better discussion on another forum though. [big grin]

Interesting to hear that you think the battery powered version is better.
I love my KSS300 to bits so an improved version would be interesting. What is better? I guess it must be nice having a blade brake.

Not to keen on another battery system though.

18v is plenty for the blade size and going cordless makes it that much more usefull. The blade break and brushless motor are a noticeable improvement IMO.

Ah - brushless and blade brake. Good to know. Sounds excellent!
Currently doing up a house and laying down laminate flooring (oak) so the KSS300 runs hot.

Hello there Jonathan
I am new to the site and as they say every day is a school day, I was still at TEC in 1989 but from that day to this I have never seen any Mafell gear on the sites which is a shame as it looks top notch gear.
