Mail Center - Computer Desk for family room

My version of the Pier1 inspired Computer Desk / Mail center project. Mostly I used all my fest-toys ... tools  to build the project.

It was a fun project since I did not make too many mistakes except for a misplaced hole for one of the drawer knobs.

The fliptop that holds the laptop is frame and raised panel.
Finish is water based Transtint and Shellac.

Apologies for my image quality I had to use my phone to take the pictures since our camera is on its last death throes.

Bijesh - I like your desk. My daughter has been bugging me about a computer table for her room. I didn't want to build anything too big - this would be perfect. Did you use plans or just try to copy a Pier1 display? If you ever get around to taking more pics please PM them to me.

Mike: I built this for my daughter as well. I build it using an picture from a Pier1 display. I decided on the dimensions.
I will take some more pics and PM them to you.
