I don't for a moment think these put me in the running for May's contest, but here's our new front entrance.

We (My sweety and I) didn't build the door, we haven't gotten to slingin' pieces of wood that big yet, so that's just a mahogany Escon picked up off of Craigslist, but we did the trim and the side rails.
The trim and side rails are made from Brazilian Redwood, apparently aka Massaranduban, picked up from the seconds pile at a local decking place. The assemblies are built with the Domino, the bevels to make 'em fit were cut with the TS55, as were all other straight cuts, and the curves were cut with the PS 300 EQ jigsaw. And the 90° chuck for the C12 was awesome for getting the screws into those pocket holes (that were drilled with a home-made jig).

And the roundovers were cut with a OF 1010, all clamped to an MFT 1080. We've got a very Festool shop.
Finish is Penofin hardwoods, this is north facing, but we're still going to have to hit this with oil every few months for a while. And, yes, like that dovetail notch in the front (which I should have made smaller so it didn't get lost in the side trim), there are a couple of other details hiding in there for visitors.
