Making Domino mortises with a router -- which bit?

I don't (yet) have a Domino. Until I do I would like to use my plunge router and a suitable jig to make mortises for 6 x 40 Dominos. What's the best router bit to use? My router is a Porter-Cable with 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch collets. Could I use a 15/64 bit? Whiteside makes a straight bit that is labeled as both 15/64 and 6mm.

I could not find a strictly 6mm bit with a 1/4 inch shank.

There is an 8mm collet available for this router which I guess would allow me to use a Festool router bit, but if I can get a good result somehow with the 1/4 inch collet I would do that.

Thanks for any help.
