i have a bunch of makita cordless tools that really need to be sysed. i'm away from them but i'll post photos of they're current state tomorrow.

i have a brushed impact, a brushless impact, the small hammer drill, the big hammer drill, the saw, and two flashlights.

5 batteries, two chargers

i'd like at the least a drill impact 3 batteries and a charger to get sysed together. how have others approached this? it seems like a lot of gear in the sys footprint, the vertical height isn't going to make things much easier without layering. maybe a maxi?

I have been thinking about a Maxi with self made dividers for many of my tools.  My thought is to group like type of tools or tools with accessories in the same box.  Don't know if that will happen, but I am on a slow quest to narrow down the storage requirements of what I carry daily.

Can't wait to see the other comments.

This is my setup in a sys2 with attic lid.  Compact 1/2" drill, lxt impact, 2 1.5AH batteries and 1 3.0AH

Since they're drills, couldn't you also store them vertically/standing up?
Maybe have a Tanos dealer put an attic on a Sys4?

I've transitioned most of my tools to systainers, too.  I have a Bosch 1594 power planer that whose dust port fits my 27mm CT hose perfectly (the chip collection is outrageously good.)  I took the original blow-mold  case and cut the bottom to fit inside a Sys3.  The blades are protected and it doesn't rattle around at all.

Got my 3 makitas in a sys 4 tloc fits very well. I have 2 dividers with two drills one on each side then charger, batteries and an impact driver in the centre section.

I had 2 bosch 18v(impact and Drill) in a sys 2 with a charger. Im upgrading it to a sys 4 to add my 12v stuff. Slowly adding more sys to my set up. Seems to keep my trailer organized instead of shelves.

Mine are loose but with mdf dividers as I said. The drills stand upright if I get time I will post a picture.

hopefully i could fit all the stuff i'm talking about in 2 sys 3's. primary drill impact set and secondary with saw.

the more i think about it the closer i get to feeling good about getting a t18

are you just throwing it in there or is there some fluff to keep things still?

I have the 20mm foam bottom in mine and the way they're arranged they'll never move.

I have my Milwaukee M12 impact driver, drill, and charger in a Sys 1 fitted with Fast Cap Kaizen foam.

The small drivers fit well in the Systainer 1.

The foam is a neat idea, it doesn't work as well as I would have hoped. The layers are difficult to remove cleanly and produce a lot of waste once you cut out enough to fit your tools. I don't plan on using the foam again, I'll probably make 1/8" plywood dividers next time...

thats sweet. its probably my best bet get a small driver and run the makita gear in the bag as is. then i'd be bringing in too many tools. i'll find a way for the makita...

I have my Hitachi 18v drill and impactor in a sys 2. I love the sys concept, but I still can stomach the cost of a festool drill.
I also have room in there for the charger, flashlight, and various bits and drivers.

Should be pretty doable in two Sys IIIs and you should be able to get the one particular set in to a single Sys one way or another. I would skip the Maxi Sys because it it just doesn't work as well in the System. Better  off with two regulars.

I have my Milwaukee 12 volt stuff all in I think it's a sys 3 with attic. 3 chargers, 5 or 6 batteries, impact, hammer drill, osilating tool, and mini saw saw. I will try to post pics. Not real pretty but it fits.

We can't get Kaizen Fast cap in the uk yet.

So here's the use of Pick & pluck foam.

do you have more makita stuff in other sustainers, or loose?
