MFT/3 on wheels

I cleaned out a little corner in the basement and it looked like a good place to put my MFT. But for longer pieces I needed it to get it out. So it was time to come up with wheels but not permanently in place. With a few cheap caster rollers from HD and a few pieces of left-over wood I made a construction like they use at car races for lifting the car to replace wheels.

Feel free to use the idea. The system is not for covering distances but for moving the table just a few feet. To make it more stable and sturdy, you could put some clamping to the ends of the "handles". I used wood that was left over and I bought the cheapest wheels that could do the job.

Beautiful.  Stays level so you can move it with things on it.  You can quickly remove it if you need to load the MFT in the truck.  Can you engage it with a foot?  I move mine around often and so far I've been using a furniture dolly on one end I'm ashamed to say. 

By the way, that looks like a brace for a table extension in on one of those photos.  Mind sharing a picture of that?

For connecting and disconnecting the bars, you need to dive under the table. You may see it as a way to stay in form.
For a foot-operated construction, you need to make the construction quite complicated.
It has to be operated from the side of the table, you have to kick it in a sort of engagement and with the same kick you have to disengage it. I think it would be easier to make it hydraulical.  ;D
