MFT Kapex - other uses?

Kind of curious if anybody is using the MFT Kapex in an "other" capacity. My wife and I sold our home and I am about to frame in my new basement shop. I just had my electrical service upgraded and I've added a bunch of breakers and will be framing and wiring today and thought about building a miter saw station as opposed to using my MFT Kapex with the Fastcap wings. This will leave the little guy purposeless for a little while. I could sell the table but I'd rather not. Any ideas?
