Sadly, not every tool is in a systainer and for those tools and supplies I always bring this Stanley toolbox to do installs. A while back I put it on its own cart because everything is better on wheels. After seeing all the mft tables, tops, carts ect. I built this. The cnc cut all the holes and I wrapped it with some maple scrap. Waxed it and screwed it to the top of the toolbox.

Good idea man. I never heard of waxing the MDF, I have two 2'x4' MDF slabs I made into portable MFT tops, what benefits would I get for putting wax on them?

The top is actually extrida which is waterproof mdf. I waxed the maple and when the extrida got wax on it it changed color so the whole thing got a coat of wax.
