Hi All,
Just a thought experiment for the moment.
I have a Sjobergs work table, which is good for most of what I want, but when it comes to smaller projects, it does not have the right holes in the places.
And while I like the MFT, it's pricey to be used as little more than a clamping table.
I was thinking that I could build a MFT style clamping table using 2x4s and 3/4" thick MFD. I can get 2ftx4ft MFD panels cheaply enough, and then drill 20mm holes in it. I can then set it aside when not in use. I would have to better wood than construction grade, but that's not a problem.
I would make the table 2ftx3ft, and use it on top of the Sjoberg.
Any thoughts? Am I way off on this one?
