Does anybody know what the hole spacing and the thickness of the top of the MFT3 is? Also will there be longer side rails so a person can make a jumbo MFT3?
thanks
Steve

This post came up while I was researching the same thing. Probably too late for you now, but might be useful for someone else.

For the MFT3 the holes are 20.15mm diameter, centred at 96mm. The top is 18mm thick.
The older MFT had slightly smaller holes, which I think are 20mm diameter - but the guy who makes the Qwas dogs would know for sure (http://qwasproducts.com/Home.html )

The longer rail or profile on the MFT3 is part no 472863. It doesn't say how long it is on the Festool ekat page, but is around 1100 to 1150 mm long judging by the overall table dimensions. Currently 41.04 UKP.

It looks like the holes have always been centered on 96 mm. Some of the oldest MFT have hole diameters of 19.85 mm. Then they went to 19.9 and 19.94 mm for a while. 20.03-20.07 mm followed those briefly before it looks like Festool settled on 20.15 mm around 2006 or 2007. MDF is stable stuff so these holes haven't shrunk due to age.

The long profiles are not, and have not been, available in the U.S.  The part number(s) would be the same but we don't offer them.

There are enough European dealers that are willing to help you out. But the shipping for some 2 meter rails... $$$
