Milwaukee right angle drill attachment, anyone have it?

Tom, I actually compared that model to my Snap-On certified 3/8" torque wrench and found the Makita's impact torque and break away torque (reverse) to be a good deal less than advertised.  In other words, don't hold your breath relying on the specs for your tightening or loosening needs, especially in a critical situation.

I completely believe it, Ken. But by the same token, can we trust the spec's for the adapter? There has always been a plethora of ways to lie, cheat, and steal...

Tom,

If you're talking about the Milwaukee adapter, yes you can without a doubt trust the specs.  I know the production and marketing team there and they assured me they swear on a bi-bell regularly before making any claims.  Every individual at Milwaukee goes through a strenuous 42 second ethics / water torture course to weed out the dishonest ones.  I'm not allowed to discuss this in detail.

Actually, Ken, I meant the one that's supposed to be useful for impact drivers.

Tom

Thanks for clearing up the in-lb blunder.  I guess that would make it a lot higher rated than the milwauke 540in/lbs vs. 235in/lbs.

Tom, I noticed you edited your post.  Did you have a visit from those guys again after mentioning the word Pentagon?  I think from now on you should just refer to it as the "Polygon".  [wink]

You must have been seeing things, Ken.

I know nothink, I see nothink...
