Misumiusa vs 8020 Extrusion

I’m looking to buy some Aluminum extrusion to build a workbench and understand these 2 brands are not compatible but both allow me to use Festool clamps in the track. It seems Misumiusa is cheaper and if I someone wanted to spend more, could get it in a Yellow which appears to match my Incra fence.

I don’t see the corner braces on the Misumiusa site which look as nice as 8020 site but perhaps they have other items 8020 doesn’t have. Misumiusa is a bit cheaper ... is there any reason to go one way over the other?

I did and it didn’t seem much cheaper and with the chance it’s scuffed up I figure I’m better off buying brand new.

I've ordered a lot of 80/20 from the eBay store and none of it was scuffed up. The only stuff that could be scuffed up is if it's advertised as used.

A lot of the listings are just duplicates of the home site. The truly overstock stuff is substantially lower cost.

Is there a way to determine the truly overstock items?  Are these items small lengths only?  I need several at least 5’.

I recently bought 6 pieces of 3030 (3" x 3") in six-foot lengths in black from the 80/20 eBay surplus store.  I had to machine everything myself (cutting to length, tapping, drilling access holes) but I calculate I saved over $500 for my project vs buying new from the factory.  (The only difference I noticed from new is that the ends are not black, since these are offcuts...but I knew that going in and it didn't matter in my project.)

Just compare price per length, they also might mention it in the description. Overstock is not necessarily short. Also on overstock they usually use actual photos on some MDF background vs photos on white background for stock items.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to keep an eye out ... I’ve only seen shorter pieces of 1515 for closer to 25 cents per foot but nothing longer yet.

I don't know what lengths you're looking for, but I purchased several pieces of 1515 in November that were 72" long.
