What an odd thread. Just saying.

We're seeing a bit of that sort of think lately! Less about being a community to collaborate and get the best out of our Festools .. more a place to rant about how much a particular Festool product is despised.

Well said Peter, I try to keep out of them and there's been a few lately about the kapex and carvex which touch wood have been fine for me so far.Peter Halle said:joiner1970 said:TrueKev said:jacko9 said:I find it interesting that the original poster had two posts on June 10th and one more the following day -now after 8 months this thread still lives and we still haven't heard from the OP on what he decided to do?

Then let's take it back! Don't get into those threads that you know instinctively will go "bad". You don't have to love Festool or praise their tools to participate here. We have thousands of members here who have done so much in their lifetimes in so many parts of the world in so many different ways. Continue to share that. Continue to help those like you were helped upon first joining. Say hi and welcome them. There will always be those who will use the forum in ways that it was never intended to be and unfortunately we (all of us) aren't going to be able to stop it. But if there are posts that don't get attention and die then so be it. There will be posters who are not happy when they post and might never be happy. The longer a forum is around and the popularity of it does increase the number of dissenting or disenchanting posts. Let's not go the route than so many other forums have gone - focusing on the dissension and unhappiness.
I realize I sound like a desperate cheerleader here but it is past time for all of us to concentrate on the good versus the bad.
A special thank you to all of the Members who have given and care so much. I assure you that it is noticed and appreciated.

I admire your ingenuity and resourcefulness, but that really seems like a huge bodge for a what is one of the most expensive jigsaws on the market!

Well the 30-days of exchange are over. I bought the thing especially for the circle adapter. By God! If Festool cant fix it, then I'll find my own solution. I can't let all that money I payed for it go to waste. That's not a option. My wife already wants to kill me for the fact I bought it in the first place. Imagine if she found out it's a piece of junk >.
