Nice way to incorporate the Rockler base with you MFT. And nice base!
Just for info only, Rockler has two sets of legs that come in either 28" or 32" height. They also have as I best recall the strechers in lengths of 18, 24, 36 and 48 inches, so you can customer build the size that best suits your needs. I used several sets of these for my miter saw station and for an assembly table. The leg set comes with a robust adjustable set of feet, so, you can level a series of these quite easily. The 28" legs are perfect to mount the miter saw on, with the 32" legs used on the bases on both adjoining sides, easy to achieve a level saw station.
For my assembly table, I used the lockable casters Rockler has that mates to the legs. I found these easier to use than the ones shown on your MFT base. Once you get to a certain weight, I found the ones you used to be difficult to raise, and when lowering, will kind of slam down when releasing.
