I have the table sitting just below the bottom of the miter slot and so far it's working great, but then again I haven't cut anything all that large on the table saw since building the table. Once I start cutting longer pieces I may need to bring the table height up a bit.

It's now sitting 1/8" lower than the table saw which is working out pretty well.
I'm planning on adding a drawer system underneath and will install a solid sheet to keep the dust out of them.
