Need some Festool help

Not new to Festool but have never done this and wanted info and to try.

I put Odies Wax on my Walnut DR table and when I step back in the light it looks like I can see a couple streaks.

Has anyone used one of Festools sheepskin pads with their RO-150 and how did it work?

Also, does someone have the part number for a multipack?

I've not used any Festool products to finish

I don't use the Festool specific foam and wool pads, I use the generic ones off ebay, and they work a treat, I don't see they'd be that different to the Festool ones, don't overthink it.

When you say you can see streaks, is it that the oil didn't properly soak in those spots, or it just needs some polishing with some foam pads and a bit more oil, and a final burnishing with a wool pad?

With walnut you should be able to get a really sensational finish with some polishing pads.

I also don't use one of the RO sanders just use them on an ETS EC 150. You might want to try whatever you decide on with a less aggressive sander first then move to the rotary sander if needed.

I'd also suggest practicing on some scrap first or at the very least flip the table over and start on the bottom of the table top. I usually have figured out what I should have done by the time I finish a project.  [eek]

I think it just needs polishing.which ones on eBay do you ise
