I have used HF cut off wheel and they work fine, they just dissapear quickly.  I mostly use the CGW griniding wheels and flap wheels as that is what my local metal supply/welding shop carries.

I use Hilti wheels mostly They last a long time. Other I use are from a welding shop, Walter, they do pretty good.
I do not use Forney. They wear out and disappear quickly.
Yes the one I use are not cheap. But why do I what all that extra abrasive dust flying around for the cheaper blades?
You get what you pay for.
