New drawer making technique. This could be brilliant

I could swear I've seen this fold over technique before. Vaguely remember using or knowing someone who used a 45 router bit to cut out the corners, glue, fold over and then pin nail. Then again I could be deluding myself but I don't think so.
 
I think this is quite clever, but it's not a technique I'd be likely to employ myself

Seen this technique used before for making loudspeaker enclosures - perhaps that's what you seen too.... I know it was shown at IWF at least 10 years ago....
