New Dust Extractors

Being the new owner of a CT22, I honestly don't want to hear about any of this! Is there a feature here where I can ignore or hide an entire thread? :-) Don't take it personally all!

Same thing happened with me and the MFT1080, 4 months after I purchased here comes the MFT3.

The CT26 and CT36 have an all-new Boom Arm and Handle, and the following details are taken from the last few pages of the CT26/36 brochure:

CT boom arm
CT-ASA CT 26/36/SB
For CT/CTL/CTM 26/36; tube set with connectors
496372

and

Handle
SB-CT 26/36
For CT/CTL/CTM 26/36; for easy pushing of the mobile dust extractor; includes accessory holder ZBA-D-CT 26/36 for nozzles
495802

The Order Number for the older CT22/33 Boom Arm and Handle kit is 492767.

Nothing to be sorry about. I bought my CTL22 a couple of months ago when this new CTL26 was already out. I carefully deliberated which one to buy, the brand new 26 for full price or a used 22 for a lot less. I came to the conclusion the 26 doesn't bring much extra to the field so I went for the 22.

Now after 3 months use I think the 22 performs very well. So it might look like the 26 has some nice new features, but they're only marginal and not that big of a deal.

I do remember that one of the issues with making the Planex available was developing a vacuum system that can keep up with it!

Brice when I last priced the entry level model it was over $1800
I will check with the company Tuesday. I was on an Historic remodel (12 story hotel) The prep crew had one hooked up to a 36" planetary grinder.  when they filled a 30 gal drum with concrete grindings they would move the vac head to a new one and seal the old one up for disposal.  IICRC they would fill 7 or 8 a day.

Edit; I take it all back, the little air blower feature is too darn cool and I have one very noisy compressor. Drat, darn!

Is that air blower feature a lot different from the one on the CT22?
