Charlie: That would make you a frequent user for sure!
In that case sourcing long lasting blades "on the cheap" is a good idea. I can't remember the brand but maybe "Imperial Blades"? Think they used to make Supercut compatible blades that lasted quite long. The universal bimetal blades. I went through a few of them during a larger renovation and they were mid-price and lasted at least as long as the Fein original universal blades.
I hoarded blades during a period when I did run through 2-3 a week and bought some bulk whenever they showed up. One time I scored 50 Fein Supercut blades for $120. And next week another 25 original blades. Funny enough that the period where I was wearing out blades every week petered out and I was left with a grand total of 100+ blades. At the moment I still have too many to count. [big grin] [unsure]
