Hi, I'm now a proud new owner of:

TS 55 EQ also bought the FS 3000/2 Guide Rail with it and Quick Clamps
RS 2 E with a Systainer for Abrasives
ETS 150/3
OF 1400 EQ with the Edge Guide and Guide Rail Attachment
CT 22 E

All of this happened within the last Month.  Terribly crazy with buying all of these excellent tools and thanks to another Carpenter, Brice Burrell, who influenced my doing this  by just simply making a new undercut on a wood door (went out and bought the TS 55 EQ that afternoon).  Now I've used all of these tools to rework and refinish a door and make a new jamb with the casing, plinths, and head trim.

Welcome to the FOG.  You can never go too far wrong with any Festool but it looks like you have made some excellent choices.

In Brice you have got someone who cares enough about the product and the users to (1) use them himself and (2) to be sure you are headed in the right direction.

Welcome to the FOG and to the wonderful world of Festool :D  You won't be disappointed...I'm glad to see someone who uses the RS 2 sander...we often call it the unsung hero at the office.  It will make quick work on large surfaces...

Brice is a very good resource...I'm glad you were able to get advice and a demo from him...your going to enjoy many years with these tools, and the FOG is a great resource and place to meet like minded people.

I trimmed a few old doors yesterday that no longer closed properly so unless you were peeking over my shoulder when I wasn't looking I'll assume you got the info you needed from my website.  ;D Either way I'm glad it helped and you found the tools to be such an asset. And welcome to the FOG, I think you're going to like it here.
