thanks shane, maybe in the future they can make a sys roc lite, led flash light built in speaker would be the ultimate :), im sad theres no usb support for the us version :(
It's not really a U.S. version it's just the original sysrock that we've had here for a year or more. In sure in a years time you'll have the new version we've just got. That's if you use DAB in the States I don't know ??

We finally implemented chip readers for our credit cards in 2016.
So, yeah, the only DAB we do is a drug or a dance. 😂

Honestly, we do have something similar, HD Radio.  But no end user, and I mean no end user, utilises it.  Youngsters stream on their phones.  Elders either stick to analog or pay a premium for a subscription satellite service.

Thank you Gerry; I'd missed that earlier thread re. the Duo.

The baseplate opens up some possibilities - as [member=23193]PreferrablyWood[/member] was planning - especially as in stock form it appears the Duo cannot be tilted on its own tripod; I would like sometimes to be able to 'bounce' the light off of a ceiling.

Can someone clarify something for me please.  I am ready to buy the HKC plus FSK today, but am wondering if it will be available with Airstream batteries early April?

Yes, there will be versions of the HKC 55 with Airstream. Here are the product number:

HKC Basic: 201359
HKC Plus: 201371
HKC Set-FSK: 201374

. Hah, I posted this exact request in the Festool Wish section for a modified tri-pod that would allow just this.  I knew going in when buying my Duo about the mounting and non-Tilting , but hope someone comes up with a clever mod for the Tilt portion.

Hey, can someone confirm the clip location and type for the new air batteries? Referring to the PDC set being offered. Thanks.

[member=64512]escan[/member], welcome to the forum.

The AirStream batteries do not appear to feature a belt clip.

However, the PDC has an integrated belt clip on it. You can see them in Peter's review video at the 14:30 mark.

Shane,

I may have missed it in the video... do you know if the SysRock will charge your phone will plugged into it (and while the SysRock is plugged into the power source)?

Just to confirm the dab radio will charge phones over the USB. I picked one up last weekend at a tool show- first to enter the country the rep said. So far been happy with it. The dab and phone charging capabilities is worth the upgrade in my opinion.

Just to be clear, the *new* DAB+ version of the SYSROCK BR 10 available in Europe can charge a mobile device via an integrated USB port. The non-DAB+ version of the BR 10 (which I believe is what will be sold in the US) does not have this capability.

That's correct. The version sold in NA is SYSROCK BR 10. Only the SYSROCK BR 10 DAB+ has the integrated USB interface.

So much for buying one of these.

Friendly reminder!

The new Sys-Rock radio, AirStream charger and batteries, and Domino connectors begin shipping on Monday.

Please note that we just learned from Festool that some of the updated cordless tools, which will now include Airstream batteries and charger, will be delayed by about a week. The expected ship date for these are noted on our website. This does not affect the Airstream batteries and chargers themselves.

What is shown appears not to be the BR 10 DAB+.  Is that available now in the US?  It has been available in Europe and the UK for some time.

[member=64239]Abditory[/member] DAB+ is a radio standard that originated in Europe that's not available in the U.S.

The version I linked to the current model available in the U.S., no information on any changes to the Sys-Rock offering in the U.S. market.
