New hose garage with WCR1000 Work Center?

I removed the 1000 from my CT26 to take the vac to an office we were renovating. One of my subs trashed the hose garage - so I bought and installed the new upgraded one. Now I have the vac back in my shop - and I can't see how the 1000 will fit the new style hose garage.

I must be missing something? Ideas? Tips?

..Give me a few.. I have a new hose garage and a WCR 1000 - but not on a DC at the moment.. I’ll be back [scared] [big grin]

..That’s fast?:
The WCR won’t fit in the recessed hole as in the old hose garage, it will sit on top and you’ll have to lift the clasps. See photos (Last photo shows how clasps are lifted and bent backwards to enter the WCR 1000)

Well DUH, it's pretty obvious when you put it like that.

Thanx so much - turns out the key is that 2 of the latches (on the bottom of your bottom 2 pics) slide UP in the mounting to allow them to latch the 1000. I originally couldn't get them to latch and thought they just didn't fit. But when I accidentally slid them up - BINGO!

I was a bit baffled to your OP as well, as I have a WCR1000, still looking for a pre-owned CT26-36. Long story, but I was in a Festool shop in Denmark at the point were I got a deal on a near fully equipped CT 26 In a near mint condition, only with a broken hose garage, and no Bluetooth module. I said to the seller that I was in the store right now, and would buy the hose garage and Bluetooth module.. so I did. The seller? He didn’t show up.. even that I was on my way home from Denmark through Sweden (were the seller was), a 5 hour drive from home.. Sooo that’s why I have the new hose garage and a brand new Bluetooth module.. waiting for a CT to sit on [big grin] [big grin]
Now I know that the old garage will be equally well, as I’m probably have the WCR on top as default. When that CT arrives that is  [eek]
