new mitre saw

i got the DLS110 today.  coming on the 29th!!!

got it from ffx.co.uk

not in anyway affiliated but they do do festool and other good brands cheep

not sure abt international shipping

I think you’ll be very happy with your new mitre saw. I used mine all weekend making mitre/domino drawers for the mitre station cabinets. 9 drawers, all the mitres came together very nicely.

were you using yours OOB or with a bit of tinkering [huh]

It needed a bit of adjustment to get exactly square and get the positive stops just right. Not much - maybe 45 mins total however I wanted it exactly spot on now it’s bolted down and not moving.

Took a lot more effort to get the table exactly level with the mitre station surface....that’s about 2hrs of my life I’m not getting back!

is the fence split or not.  it looks single but i may b wrong.

also it looks like you can ajust the didents so you dont have to prat round adjusing everything every time

Yeah the fence is split. You have take the top part off to get a 45 deg bevel. I’m not sure if you can adjust the positive stops - I haven’t tried.

i meant are the left and right lower fences conected but now it's arrivied [scared] [big grin] [big grin] [big grin] (its bigger than i thought) i can see for myself
