New Product - Drill Press Dust Collection!

I wish I could claim being that clever, but I didn't even realize the play on words when I wrote it.

I saw this as a kickstarter campaign and was interested. Saw it in person at the woodworking show and got it for 40 bucks. I have zero complaints after 2 months of use.  Hooked up to a small shop vac and it works great.

+1

I got one when the WW show was in Atlanta.  The shroud works really well, and the vendor threw in an extra shroud so I could have one for smaller and one for larger diameter drill bits.  I set the bottom of the shroud about 1 to 1 1/2" above the tip and it picks up well and doesn't block my view.

My business name is:  Tinker's Organic Yard Services
I was thinking of painting the sign on my truck as TOYS, but thought better of it.
Besides, i have never been out of work unless i wanted to be, so never put anything on the truck and no other advertising.  If had the name of Tinker Toys for the same reason the original  used that name, i probably would not have to even work. But, allas, i have the reputation of the Tinkers of Ireland.  Not so good ::)

Had some time over today so fixed dust collection on the drillpress. Hooked up a 14gal Shopvac to some plumbing part I got at Ace. Think it was less then $15. Works grate for smaller drill sizes up to 1 3/4, the 4"holesaw not so much. Well its better with the vacuum on then not. Estimate it gets 60% with the 4" holesaw cutting 5/8 MDF. Don't think the tornado can do better on a 4" holesaw. Looks like a good system. As long you don't use it close to your dill fence if you have one.
Here some pictures of that it looks like.
