Just purchased a new RO-90 and CT-26 and am really impressed with the power of this little machine, now to stock up on sanding consumables. [eek] at the cost !!!!!

Hi. Yes great little Reno/small project sander. I've had mine a while. Check this site, there are folks selling variety packs of sandpaper at very reasonable prices for those of us that are just hobbyists.

And some of the dealers can put together some packs of different grits, etc... for you if you do not want to buy boxes of abrasives in different grits.  Since sandpaper has no shelf life, I have stocked up on lots of different grits and lock in at today's prices (since these typically only go up in cost over time).  It is a great little sander, though.

Here is a link to the classifieds add for the RO90 granat (all purpose) sampler.    His name is Rob, send him a Private message and see what he can do for you

http://festoolownersgroup.com/classifieds/fs-granat-sampler-for-ro90/

I know he just shipped his first run (because i got my tracking info!) but there is a good chance that he still has stock and or will do it again.

From talking to him i know he is open to requests for different grits and or custom sets (not selling it like that now but he might depending on the market)

I use my sander professionally but i primarily use round (which i am fully stocked in). he was able to sell me several sets of delta only so i could have the full grit range without breaking the bank

Enjoy the vac and sander!   great combo

Thanks for the info, looks like a good deal. Maybe I'll pick up the sustainer for the pads.

you might want to look into something like THIS or THAT

it takes a bit of work but really expands what you can fit in there, the stock systainer will hold 8 different grits (unless you stack multiple grits in one spot) the on i built like in the "this" thread has 28 slots.  this only fits in a sys 2, not a sys 1 like the stock abrasives systainer.

I use my RO90 for sanding off the nail hole fillers, and other flat trim pieces pretty much on every job... and the new Syslite is a nice way to see in tight spots...
