New van

Never really liked transhits but I have to say the new ones look much better. Not sure if I could ever be tempted away from VW'S but I think I will take a closer look .

A lot of people say they can't justify the price but then Festool stuff is the same. Why buy that when you can buy Bosch, Makita and default stuff cheaper.

That is true  [tongue] maybe in the future I haven't had much problems with ford yet until something bad happens and I can see the benefits of getting a vw

Have to agree. VW all the way. Bit like fes stuff - you get what you pay for. Mine eats up the miles, more often than not under heavy load :)

I've bit the bullet and bought a new one as well . Taking delivery in the new year  [unsure]

Fwiw 3 tradesmen i know of late have had huge problems with newish transporters and crafters. Personally i would love a t5 and nearly got one but in the end couldnt justify the cost and the lack of space. Ended up with something lots bigger which does the job but doesnt look as good :)

I've had a crafter 63000 on the clock its spent a week a month in the garage this year not at all like they used to be my merc went for 8 years and 200 k without a problem dom

A new 2015 ford transit t350 lwb medium roof

Nice. I think the Mk8's are bigger inside than the Mk7's - can you stand up in the medium roof?
You can plus it helps I'm not too tall , I've a mk7 at the moment exact same van except I went for a trend model with all the extras , must decide on my shevling layout yet

My advice for your next purchase would be to get a good camera and learn how to use it. Good portfolio shots are the most powerful marketing tool I have ever had. You may not need them now but the next time there is a downturn it could be why your phone rings and someone else's doesn't. You can also easily put them on a tablet long before you worry about a web page. It's a very powerful way of demonstrating your skills to a prospective customer and should mean you will sell jobs at a premium.

Had a free day and got some more racking done it's starting to come along really nicely still a few more bits to do

It's coming on....
Nice bit of room left for materials.
Hope your busy.
Cheers
