Hey there, fellow woodwork enthusiasts! I just stumbled upon this exciting news about the new woodworking simulation game for PC, and I can't contain my excitement! Woodworking has always been a passion of mine, and the idea of being able to hone my skills virtually is just awesome.

Well, apparently, the "industrial" scale replicators needed for some serious furniture making will not be something ubiquitous even in the known Trek worlds.

Guess something to do with power requirements .. when you can power the power grid of a planet with one Starship reactor, it becomes practical to carry /and use/ replicators on that ship. Not so much so once energy use/cost comes to picture in a planetary setting. Not /that/ much use for new furniture on a starship these days. Musk may change that, but would not bet on that either.

I am afraid, dear Data, we shall have to keep our Dominoes and Trek saws around for the couple centuries in question. At least till that "small" problem gets resolved as well.
