Clean, simple design, I like it!

How did you bore the holes in the worktop?

I used OF 1400 and 20 mm bit.......It did not take that long and pretty easy to do.....I was quite pleased with the results.........

Looks great!  can you be a little more specific of how you got the layout correct on the holes? Thanks
 
I have a T square that i marked the centers of of my mft table and then marked out on big table both directions.....worked out pretty good, I am pleased with the table......

I love the idea too (might have to steal it!). Deny everything and take the credit. Say you thought of it! :)
 
I like the hoe pattern you used.  I have often thought of sealing a section of my MFT top off to give me a place to work when disassembling and re assembling anything with very small parts or screws.  With entire top full of holes, i have to reach for a tray or some other way to work so those small items don't find their way to floor or drawers.  With my shaky hands, i find it especially difficult to hang onto tiny screws.  Your design would make it a lot simpler project.
