Newer side stops with older Domino

The newer version domino apparently comes with an additional feature that allows for the mortise to be indexed closer to an edge than the paddle alone.

Will the newer aux fence 'bolt in' and provide the same function with the pin version domino?

Yes, you can use it with the older pin-style Domino machines. It uses the same two thumb screws to attach it to the machine.
