I have always found that it is easier to measure the angle of a piece of cut stock, than the angle setting of a blade (in any type of saw).
So when I need a precise cut, I will set the blade and cut a sample piece and measure the angle of the sample. I would then tweak the saw’s angle until I get the cut I want.
