OF 1400 Wrench

Just bought the 1400 with the 1/4", 1.2" and 8MM collets. It came with a 24mm wrench that fits the 1/2" collet but the other 2 need a 22mm wrench. The parts diagram only shows one wrench. Am I missing something here?

As I know Festool USA started to ship OF-1400 with newer, improved collets, similar to OF-2200. Call tech Festool tech support and ask about it.

Well, that's odd. There were changes to the collet, but you should have received the correct wrench(es) for the collets you got.

Since that's not the case, just give the service department a call and they'll fix you up. Their number's below in my signature.

Alternatively, send me an email with your name, shipping address and phone number and I'll get one sent out to you.

similarly the supplied wrench (in the UK) doesn't fit the supplied - or purchased collets
