Hi all,

I'm thinking about getting the OF 1400 router soon and was wondering if it comes with the guide rail attachment? Or is that the "Guide Stop Adapter" that is sold separately for $76?  Is the rail attachment a worthwhile accessory?

Thanks for the help

This is a must have for rail work. Yep - it's a pay for on top, not included.

The guide rail adapter is the cat's meow for dadoes (through or stopped), rabbets, one-off mortises, etc.

Get the base widener and small bore accessory. Either of these will help level the router with the guide rail (more or less) and are very useful in their own right.
