If anybody knows - or has a moment to spare to take a measurement - could you please tell the guide-rod spacing (centre to centre if poss - ie how far apart they are) when fitted to the OF1400?
And are the rods 8mm or 10mm diameter?

(I have a half-formed idea of using the guide rail attachment for a somewhat different purpose. It might be a lot easier to adjust my embryonic design to suit, rather than make something. The micro-adjust might be overkill but could be a nice addition. It's to guide a base I want to make for a lightweight sheet metal nibbler.)

Thanks very much!

Ok, I've found an earlier thread in which it's said they are 8mm diameter;
now I just need the spacing...

I measure 71.22mm in between the posts on my OF1400 and about 79.37mm center to center.

If you measure across the outside of the rods I get 86.60 mm.
Minus the nominal rod diameter of 8 mm the center-to-center distance should be approximately 78.60 mm.

Thank you all three kindly - that's just what I needed - and accurate enough for me to buy the guide attachment and build around it. The spacing is appropriate for what I had in mind.
If my project proceeds with any degree of success or usefulness, I'll report back!

And on the other side?

If you measure with them sticking out that far, you might get a somewhat false measurement, especially since one of the rods is only clamped in one spot.
