I decided to order an OF2200 + Accessory Sys. this week,  but as it turns out,  no one seems to have any OF2200's ???

Every site I go to either has them listed as "BACKORDER" status,  or not at all,  as though they've been eliminated from the lineup!  (I'm sure that can't be the case.)

anyone know anything about the availability of these?  -or better yet,  where I can find an OF2200 and accessory kit -both in T-Loc Systainers.

There outhere, if you cant find it local Amazon has a few ans the sys sets.
Hope that helps

I'm not sure, Dan. The easy way is to go to the box on the right side under the Festool logo and pick the "Routers" option. I'm usually available by phone also...

I finally decided to make the purchase of the LR32 kit this past week.  I have the OF2200 already, so I needed to get one of the routers that works with the LR32.  I originally planned on the OF1400, but they are also on back order with most dealers.  The dealer I ordered with said he knew for sure the wait was at least two weeks.  He also told me that there are a bunch of other Festool tools that are also on back order.  I settled on the OF1010 since it seemed like it would complement the 2200 a little bit better and it was immediately available.

Tom,

I searched for Festool Routers and didn't get a hit.  What's up?

Dan.

Try "Festool router". The "s" was the problem.

Justin,

Since you already own the OF2200, I think any supply delay worked to your advantage.

When drilling shelf pin holes using a router, over a short period of time you to a whole lot of plunging. The OF1010 has more than enough power to not only drill or bore all the holes from 3mm to 35mm used with the LR32 system, it needs significantly less force to plunge compared to the OF1400.

This might not be noticed if making only a single cabinet, but as happens even with hobby builders, often several cabinets must be drilled in the same session. As people start on the second side, after making two rows of holes on the first side, with the OF1400 fatigue starts to set in.
