Hi guys,
I am building a sim racing cockpit, actually it is already built and I used it for a few years before moving and stashing it in the attic of the new place. I decided to get it down and re-assemble it and do some paint to make it look nice enough to put in the house.
I want to prime it and smooth it all out and am wondering if anyone here has ever used automotive type primer on MDF?
I tried some stuff from sherwin williams that is a sandable wood primer but it goes on thick, doesnt really roll over all its really difficult to work with. Maybe I just got the oldest can in the store.
I am thinking that there has to be something better out there. I was thinking maybe the rustoleum primer in a quart might be better?
