Paulk Workbench Adapted For Table Saw

I just assembled my Paulk workbench and it was cut out by a friend on his CNC machine. It does not have the holes for the pipes that hold the table saw and it is not possible to drill for them after assembly and I really didn't want them in there anyway. Does anyone have an idea for supporting a TS on the end of this bench that is not too bulky. My saw is fairly lightweight Dewalt that cuts great by the way that I want to use.

I may not be following your question, but couldn't you STILL drill the holes for the round support rods even though the bench is done? The end is obviously exposed, and the inside stringers/dividers should be accessible through the slots in the torsion sides?

You could make a quick jig to align with the edge or center or whatever and drill perfectly aligned holes.

As to other ideas, we need pictures of your bench and your saw.

But mostly of your bench!

This is my cutting table I designed and use. It isn't a Paulk design but you could do something similar. I hung the shelf off the table end support and made simple swing down legs for support.

Edit...give me a minute...photos not uploading.

Thanks! If you had the space, both would be awesome! I had a 4x4 mft top made for this. I can put it on one end or set this up just as a 4x4 footprint. I use that for my assembly table. Somewhere here is a thread on this table...I don't want to derail this one too bad.

So waltwood, are mh pics what you had in mind?

You can easily insert the table saw supports after the workbench is complete.  Make them 1/2" less than the inside height of the workbench, then after calibrating their position slide a small 1/2" filler under the supports and glue into place.

That is what I was looking for! Thanks. That is the same saw (and lawnmower) that I have.

Your are correct that the holes could still be drilled in it now. I was thinking the inside was not accessible. It would be awkward, though. I did not want to use the pipes because it added weight and helpers would do destructive things with them.
