I’ve had my eyes on both Grex and Cadex for a while now. Are there any Cadex users out there in FOG land. I don’t see too many reviews about that brand.
I see 9 variants of the 23 Ga, 2 18 Ga, 1 21 Ga and 1 15 Ga. RE the 23 Ga, the variants may simply be max fastener length, but is there anything else that differentiates them?
I have used my Hitachi 15 Ga angled finisher for 15 years. It seems to work very well, but it is the old model. I haven’t heard good things about the new model. I also used an Airy 18 Ga for years, but it got dropped on concrete and the body cracked (not repairable). It too was the older and better model. Currently I am using an Hitachi 18 Ga. I feel it is ok, but not great. My micro pinned is a 23 Ga Bostich. I have no complaints about that, except the case latches broke almost right away.
Generally I don’t buy tools for the sake of buying them. Generally I wait until a tool needs to be replaced. I may not buy new nail guns anytime soon, but I am curious as to the differences in the Grex 23 Ga guns especially.
