Plywood Chair - Are Plans Available?

I came across a plywood chair at Woodcraft in Rockville, Maryland. It's bent by cutting out slats in the ply and I found it to be quite a comfortable chair. I'd like to build one for myself but the staff didn't know much about the chair other than they think it was from the early days of CNC. Wondering if anyone here might recognize it, help me identify it and if there might be any plans available for it?

I have been trying to post photos of the chair but have been spectacularly unsuccessful. Saw a post that said images have to be in a response and I'm going to try that in the next post.

That's kind of interesting. Without a CNC, you would basically be locked into a template situation, which is not exactly easy either. You would have to buy/ship them from a vendor OR download/ print full-scale and cut them out by hand. The half-laps would have to be adjusted, to match the plywood thickness.

Overall, I'm not really feeling this. The kerfs are too wide and plentiful. (all of the bend is happening in that first kerf, the rest do nothing) A couple of narrower kerfs, closer to that bend point, would be far better.
The way the upper flares of the front legs stick out sharply? The front ends of seat supports falling short, leaving the grooves open?
As a prototype? ok.  Finished product? I don't think so.
