Practice Topic

Isn't it called Remove, up there to the right of your own post?

It looks like you can't delete a topic, even when you created it.

Since a topic without at least one post doesn't make sense, you can't delete the post.

You should report it to Matthew.  Maybe it's not a bug, but at least he can clean up these two worthless threads we've made.

Good rename.

Maybe we need a Practice thread somewhere for trying stuff out.  Anyone using it could clean up after himself, leaving the Practice Thread Head in place for the next experimenter.

I really surprised there isn't a delete button. Sure seems like there use to be one. If there isn't, then we definitely need some place to play around.

Members are allowed to remove their own posts, but they cannot remove topics.  That is there by design, since the removal of a topic can take down other people's posts as well as your own.

However, a place to experiment is a good idea, so here it is!

Feel free to use this "Practice Topic" to try out forum functions, then leave it up or delete it when you want.
